Hillhurst Sunnyside Harvest Fair

Every year, gardeners young and old from around the city and community gardens, enter produce, garden art and culinary creations. Biggest pumpkins, most pathetic vegetables, art and baking. Winners in all our 50+ categories are chosen by local celebrity judges. Winners take home bragging rights and the ever-coveted place ribbons. This year you can find us alongside the Hillhurst Sunnyside Farmers’ Market, where you can buy your produce, enjoy live entertainment, fair games and join in on the annual Pie eating contest! So much fun to be had, you won’t want to miss it. This event is free to attend, and family friendly; a real learning experience for kids (and everyone) to see where their produce comes from and what is possible with a little knowledge and passion! Entries are 1$, kids’ under 12 entries are free.
