Join us for “Peace Skills Practice” at the 2019 Canadian School of Peacebuilding with instructor Natasha Mohammed. Courses are available for professional development, personal inspiration or academic credit. The skills and habits of the peacebuilder can be learned. Throughout this course, participants will examine a variety of approaches to dealing with conflict in diverse situations such as: responding to one’s own conflicts, helping others in conflicts, and learning to recognize the cultural elements of conflict resolution. In this interactive course, participants will practice the role of the peacebuilder in a variety of situations. This course is offered in partnership with Resolution Skills Centre (RSC) and Mediation Services and counts as 5 days of elective credit towards an RSC certificate.
