Wild Winter Canoe Race 2019 Have a Blast and Help Change Lives! If you’ve never experienced racing a canoe on the snow, this is your chance to do just that. When: Saturday, February 16, 2019 (long weekend) Where: Shaw Park – racing begins at noon What: A race in a canoe in February. It’s the wildest winter race in the west! 5-person teams “kick-stroke” canoes over a snow-packed course – no paddles here 4+ hours of head to head heats, contests and games for the whole family 3 fastest teams win awesome prizes + prizes for other categories 2 good to miss! 1 team judged best costume wins a prize too.
