Bridge City Chrysler/LA Towing PBR Challenge

For the first time in league history, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s elite Monster Energy Tour will visit the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta, holding the two-day Bridge City Chrysler/LA Towing PBR Challenge on March 1-2, 2019.The Monster Energy Tour regularly features Canada’s best riders alongside some of the league’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls from across the nation. Fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 2,000-pound opponents.

With this year’s event part of the cross-Canada, nationally-televised Monster Energy Tour, riders will be vying for an increased purse and amount of world points in an effort to earn a berth onto the elite PBR: Unleash The Beast. Simultaneously, riders will be competing for points towards the Canadian national standings to be crowned the 2019 PBR Canada Champion come season’s end.The event will come on the heels of yet another fiercely contended title race on the Canadian tours. While Lachlan Richardson (Gresford, New South Wales, Australia) currently sits atop the leaderboard, No. 2 Brock Radford (De Winton, Alberta) and No. 3 Cody Coverchuk (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan), both anticipated to compete in Lethbridge, are within 140 points of the top spot.Also within striking distance of claiming the title, and slated to compete inside the ENMAX Centre in 2019, are young gun Lonnie West (Cadogan, Alberta), two-time and reigning PBR Canada Champion Zane Lambert (Ponoka, Alberta) and three-time Canadian Champion Aaron Roy (Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan).

Fans can expect to see some of the top bull riders and bulls compete for the largest purse in the history of the event.
