The Service & Hospitality Safety Association (SGSA) will be hosting an event to recognize Youth Safety Education Day — a day proclaimed by the Government of Saskatchewan to teach workplace safety to youth across the province.
Guest speaker Duane Janiskevich, a self-described “humorous and passionate storyteller who encourages audiences to address their safety attitudes and inspires people to learn from their own life lessons,” will share his story with students. Mr. David Buckingham, MLA for Saskatoon Westview will also join Saskatoon Police Services Chief Troy Cooper and representatives from Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools and Saskatoon Public Schools.
