This class is ideal for DIY’ers or anyone interested in doing their own basic maintenance. Class Overview: Understanding the OEM maintenance schedule Oil/filter change Coolant check and cooling system fan test Engine gaskets inspection Fuel tank inspection – fuel requirements Petcock and fuel/vent lines inspections Fuel filter inspection and replacement Fuses and electrical inspection Inspection and draining carburetors Fuel injection maintenance Service chain – clean/lube/adjust Aligning the rear wheel Inspection of drive sprockets (chain drive) Inspection of final drive diff fluid (shaft drive) Inspection of front suspension Inspection of rear suspension Lube and adjust all cables and pivot points Inspection of spark plug cap Replacement and gap setting of spark plug Battery testing and charging requirements Inspection and replacement of light bulbs Inspection of brake pads Inspection of brake rotors Inspection of brake fluid Inspection of brake lines Adjusting tire pressure Inspection of wheel bearings Inspection of tires Checking for exhaust leaks Checking for top end noise Setting engine idle The Vancouver Motorcycle Collective is fully equipped with tools, pneumatic lifts and anything you could need for general maintenance and repairs.
