Join us for “Peacebuilding Approaches to Violent Extremism” at the 2018 Canadian School of Peacebuilding with instructor Lisa Schirch. Courses are available for professional development, personal inspiration or academic credit. This interactive course will explore violent extremism through an ecological peacebuilding lens. Participants will explore the dangers, risks, and unintended impacts of interventions to stop violent extremism. In particular, the course will look at the impact of violent extremism and counterterrorism on civil society space and identify the roles of civil society in addressing violent extremism.
