HMS Pinafore

Set sail on the voyage of a lifetime with the quirky crew of HMS Pinafore! This worldwide favourite Gilbert and Sullivan operetta puts a nautical spin on the classic “boy meets girl, girl’s grumpy father gets in the way” story. When lower-class sailor Ralph Rackstraw falls in love with Josephine, the Captain’s daughter, mayhem ensues as the two lovebirds try to elope…while at sea! Edmonton Opera presents a delightful production of this topsy-turvy journey, reimagined in the extravagant 1920s Jazz Age by Cinderella director Robert Herriot.
