~Do you know a teen who seems tired all the time? ~Do they seem withdrawn or moody? ~Is it difficult to get them out of bed or to leave their room? It can be hard to know what is typical teenage behaviour, and what might be depression. The Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre invites you for a free event on The Hidden Depression in Children & Youth! In this talk, Dr. Ashley Miller from BC Children’s Hospital’s Child and Youth Mental Health Program will discuss what depression is, strategies and tips for talking to youth about your concerns, and resources and next steps you can take.
