Dia de Los Muertos Kingston Festival is a family friendly festival located in Kingston, Ontario will be on the first Sunday of November annually.
This year the festival will land on Sunday, November 5th, 2017. Dia de los Muertos is a festival which engages the community if in the celebration of life and honouring deceased friends, family, ancestors.
The festival includes opening ceremony, live music with special consideration to local culturally rich out of town and local performances, food, community altars, face painting, arts and craft workshops, over a dozen local poets and engagement with community booths.
This event embraces diversity, multiculturalism, and highlights the vibrant arts culture in Kingston. This event also aims to highlight community organizations that have services that focus on grief and bereavement, and mental health services.
