Edmonton Opera presents Lilies (Les Feluettes), a new Canadian opera that explores the passionate story of forbidden love between two young men in early 1900s Quebec. Innocence quickly turns into deception and murder as the star-crossed lovers struggle through their feelings against the norms of society. Sung in French with projected English translation.
