Edmonton’s Beth Portman and her band The Good Find craft vintage-vibed music with a personal touch. Portman sings her original lyrics with a nostalgic quality, musing on life and love with sass, heart and her ukulele. Featuring a unique percussion collection of suitcases, picnic baskets and other unusual objects, Portman’s music carries the beautiful sentiment of golden-age films in a throwback mix of early jazz, folk, swing, blues and bluegrass.
