Canada has the highest rate of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in the world with 1 in 340 Canadians living with the disease. A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. is holding its ninth annual Burgers to Beat MS campaign and has partnered with two-time Olympic bronze medalist and Canadian women’s national soccer team captain Christine Sinclair to join the fight to beat MS. Burgers to Beat MS is the single largest annual corporate fundraiser for the MS Society of Canada and has raised more than $9 million. Christine Sinclair will join Paul Hollands, Chairman and CEO, A&W, and Valerie Hussey, Chair, Board of Directors, MS Society of Canada, to serve up A&W Root Beer Floats for a minimum $2 donation, 100% of which will go directly to the MS Society of Canada. Everyone is invited to join Sinclair at the A&W restaurant located at 467 West Broadway in Vancouver on Wednesday, August 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. where they will have the opportunity to meet her.
