After years of terror under German occupation in WWII, The Netherlands are liberated by Canadian Forces. In the weeks that follow a Dutch woman and Canadian soldier fall in love and try to forge a new life together despite the fact they both have a past that desperately wants them back. See this beautiful tale of humanity and hope as a community comes to terms with both love and what war has taken away.
