On Friday March 31st 2017 Finger Eleven will take to the stage at the Phoenix Concert Theatre to celebrate 20 years of their debut Album TIP.
Finger Eleven has been creating award-winning music for 20 years, making them one of Canada’s most recognized and celebrated rock bands. “Tip” their breakthrough album, was released on Mercury Records in Canada in 1997 and re-released by Windup Records in the United States in 1998 and went on to achieve GOLD status in Canada and spawned the bands first of many charting singles with “Above” and “Quicksand” , their first two Singles.
In recent months the band has been very active on their social media platforms announcing plans to not only celebrate this recording but to revisit the spirit and the energy that making this record brought to their lives. On January 9th Guitarist Rick Jackett posted “We’ve decided to go down a road that fills us with both excitement and a bit of nervous energy. We will head into the studio for the first time in 17 years, with Arnold Lanni.” It seems that the March 31st show in Toronto will also be a bit of an exploration for Finger 11 as they will not ONLY be performing TIP Front to back, but they will also do an extended best of the rest encore and an Early VIP Acoustic performance and Q&A
This Promises to be a special night for the hardcore fans of this celebrated Canadian band.
