“When you’re happy, your body releases feel-good hormones, similar to the ones we get in exercise. And if you’re doing an exercise that you both enjoy, you’ll have double those feelings from both the physical activity and from being with your partner,” says Natalie Toman, health promotion lead for ParticipACTION, a non-profit focused on healthy, active living.
