Sport: Cross-Country Skiing

Age: 30

Hometown: Canmore, Alta.

Accomplishments:

  • 2006 Olympic Gold Medallist

Interesting Fact: Chandra Crawford came out of nowhere in 2006 to win gold in Turin. Her little sister Rosanna is on the Canadian biathlon team.

Chances: Crawford has proven that she should never be counted out. But she has suffered some recent injuries, including needing surgery for compartment syndrome in her shins and decided to cut her 2012-2013 season short in order to prepare for the Olympic Games. She could be rusty and will not likely be a favourite in any event.
