Inaugural International Overdose Awareness Day for Kelowna
Description
July 25, 2017
It's no secret that it's shaping up to be another record year for overdose deaths in B.C. Including the Okanagan and a Kelowna woman feels it's time the City of Kelowna join the rest of the world by acknowledging the problem. She's asked the mayor to sign a proclamation declaring August 31st International Overdose Awareness Day in Kelowna and as Kelly Hayes reports, the mayor didn't hesitate.
