Man giving out free hugs in Charlotte gets confronted by angry protesters

A man offered free hugs to riot police in Charlotte, North Carolina, during the second night of protests on Wednesday, September 21. Ken Nwadike from the Free Hugs Project faced verbal abuse while extending the kind gesture to police. He explained to his opponents that he thought of the police officers as human beings who have families to support and that “None of these people here shot anyone.”
