U.S. agencies will ‘make every effort to vet’ refugees, has better system in place than Europe: attorney general

Following the terror attacks in Paris and some U.S. governors calling for a halt in allowing Syrian refugees to resettle in America, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said before lawmakers on Tuesday that “agencies will make every effort to vet every refugee coming into [the U.S.]. Lynch also noted America has a “significant and robust screening process in place, a process that Europe has not been able to set up, which renders them more vulnerable.”
