Some of the worst traffic in Montreal is coming from west of the island, where people are waiting hours just to get onto the A-20.

Major road work has narrowed lanes on highway 40 along a nine kilometer stretch, between St-Charles boulevard in Kirkland, to almost the western tip of the Island, causing traffic chaos.

Users of the Sources boulevard overpass above highway 20 will have to wait at least another year for major repairs.
