The province of Quebec has agreed to compensate drivers who were trapped for hours overnight on Highway 13 during an intense snow storm in 2017.

Quebec has agreed to settlement talks in the class-action lawsuit. Last March, about 300 vehicles were trapped overnight in their cars on Highway 13, after heavy snow and an accident led to a complete standstill.

Drivers who were stuck overnight on Highway 13 during the intense blizzard that hit Quebec last week gathered Thursday to meet with their lawyers.
