GO Transit will be introducing all-day train service seven days a week, and increasing weekend service on its Barrie line beginning on Saturday.

After several years of debate, planning and construction, the TTC is set to open on Sunday the new six-stop Line 1 subway extension that will see subway service extend to Vaughan from north-end Toronto.

The TTC will be renaming its Downsview station next month as the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) gets closer to completion.
