WINNIPEG – It appears a man who was found suffering fatal injuries in an Albert Street lot fell from a window of the Royal Albert Hotel, police say.

The badly injured 42-year-old man was found by emergency personnel at about 11:45 p.m. Monday. They’d been sent to check a report of an injured male.
The man was sent to hospital in critical condition and later died.
His death is being investigated by the homicide unit, police said.
