Traffic in the area was restricted while officers searched the area, checking some vehicles.

Police found a 15-year-old student who matched the description of the subject in a classroom at Catholic Central High West.

Investigation determined that the teen had been carrying a prop gun that was used during the filming of a movie outside the school.

Police say the boy and his friends were very cooperative with police, and explained they had previously obtained permission from the school to use the prop gun in their school project.

As there was no malicious intent and the boys had previously obtained permission to have the imitation firearm on school property, police say no charges will be laid.
