Expo Line service restored

UPDATE at 12:40 p.m.: Full service has now been restored on the Expo Line. Translink says commuters should expect some gaps as regular service levels are restored.

Commuters using the ExpoLine are being asked to leave extra time to get to their destinations this morning as Skytrain is experiencing major delays due to a technical issue between Main and Broadway Stations.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

The morning commute has been affected since about 6:30 this morning, and there is still no service on the ExpoLine from Broadway into downtown.

Currently, there is service on the Expo Line from King George to Joyce.

A shuttle train will run from Joyce to Nanaimo Station, and from Nanaimo to Main.

Service is running from Main to Waterfront Station and back.
