Abbotsford Police say most of the mink that escaped from a farm on Wednesday have now been corralled.
About 200 mink escaped from a farm in the area of Downes and Lefeuvre.
Const. Ian MacDonald with the Abbotsford Police said more than 30 people were involved in looking for and collecting the mink.
Police are asking motorists and farmers to be aware.
This farm reportedly has about 2,000 mink.
There are about 15 mink farms in B.C., with all of them in the Fraser Valley. The 15 farms produce about 250,000 mink pelts a year.
Abbotsford Police are looking into how the mink escaped but do not believe it is a criminal matter.
Residents who see the mink are asked to text police at ABBYPD (222973) to prevent clogging up the phone line.
