TORONTO – Residents were evacuated from their North York apartments overnight as firefighters battled a two-alarm blaze.
The fire reportedly broke out on the 17th floor after 2 a.m. on Hollywood Avenue near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue.

Flames and heavy smoke could be seen spilling out of the balcony.
No one was seriously injured but it took about an hour to put it out and get residents back inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
