MOOSOMIN, Sask. – A B.C. man is facing drug charges after being nabbed in Saskatchewan with nearly 300 pounds of cannabis.
Shane Michael McQue, 36, from Surrey, was stopped by police on Highway 1 just west of Moosomin last Thursday.

Officers seized 278 pounds of cannabis, a small amount of cocaine and cash along with a vehicle and trailer.
McQue has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He appeared in Yorkton provincial court on Monday.
