CALGARY – RCMP say they have discovered a sophisticated credit/debit skimming device at a fast food restaurant in Cochrane.
Officials haven’t said when the device was discovered or which eatery it was found at, but say at least 130 people were victims of fraud or attempted fraud.
RCMP are warning the public to protect themselves from credit and debit fraud by always covering their PIN, and never using a key pad if it looks compromised or strange.
