WINNIPEG – A Manitoba Mountie and his spouse have each been charged with assault.
The charges were laid after officers responded July 28 to a family fight, RCMP said.

The man and the woman accused each other of assault, police said.
Neither appeared to suffer any injuries.
The Mountie and his wife are to appear in court in coming weeks.
The names of the accused and where the alleged assaults happened were not released.
