We have a busy show planned today!
At 6:45, we’ll find out more about a guided tour of Shubie Park happening on Saturday. It’s part of a new initiative by the Sierra Club of Canada to encourage Haligonians to get to know their parks better, known as HRM Diverse.
At 7:15, we’ll get reaction to Nova Scotia’s announcement that it will protect 13% of its land by 2015. It’s an ambitious plan that will see provincial parks expanded, and the addition of new wilderness areas and nature reserves.
We’ll share one more fantastic act from the Halifax International Busker Festival at 7:45. Ernest the Magnifico is Australia’s comic daredevil, and he’ll bring some of his amazing feats of strength and nerve to our studio.
Think you know a thing or two about the city of Halifax? Think again. We’ll bet you’ll discover a few things you don’t know when Paul, Erin and Jill take part in a Halifax history quiz at 8:15.
At 8:45, Jeremy Webb will be back with a look ahead to Natal Day festivities this weekend, along with a details on the Festival Antigonish.
And just before we wrap the show, we’ll welcome a very special guest with his review of the KISS concert. You’ll never guess who it is!
