KELOWNA, B.C. — In the south Okanagan, a cyclist was killed Monday night, but police can’t say yet whether it was a case of “hit and run. “
The fatal collision happened at 10:00 PM Monday on highway 97 near Osoyoos — in a stretch of road that would have been pitch black at that time of night.
The man was already laying on the road when a Mazda sedan ran over him — that vehicle remained on scene but RCMP are now looking to speak to the driver of an SUV seen driving away just moments prior. Eric Szeto reports.
