EMMA LAKE – RCMP have charged Alvin Buckwold in connection with the death of his father, prominent Saskatoon lawyer Ian Buckwold
Ian Buckwold’s body was found late Sunday afternoon in a residence at Emma Lake, about 190 kilometres north of Saskatoon.

31-year-old Alvin Buckwold has been charged with second degree murder and made his first court appearance in Prince Albert Tuesday morning.
Ian Buckwold was a key figure in a campaign to build the 65-bed Irene and Les Dube Centre mental health centre in Saskatoon.
