KELOWNA, BC — Tips are starting to come in following the murder of a Kelowna mother of two.
Theresa Ashley Neville, 27, was found dead in her Yates Road home last week. Her two girls, ages 8 and 10, were not harmed.
Police have not released the cause of death or how the killer may have gained access to the home.
Investigators removed a basement window for forensic testing for evidence.
RCMP have released a sketch of a man they say is a person of interest who was seen in the vicinity of Neville’s home around the time of her murder, but stop short of calling him a suspect.
On Wednesday, Kelowna RCMP said they have received tips on the potential identity of the man depicted in the sketch but could not reveal any numbers.
Neville’s mother works as a waitress at a West Kelowna restaurant.
A co-worker is quoted in the Kelowna Daily Courier saying that Neville’s mother has not returned to work since the murder and she’s frustrated with the lack of information provided by the police.
Neville’s mother was at her daughter’s Yates Road home Tuesday cleaning up but refused comment.
