CYCLE WISHES- 70-year-old Canadian Forces veteran Art Brochu is cycling across Canada to grant wishes for children living with life-threatening illnesses. He’s hoping to raise $100,000 over four months. Art, along with Meital Siva stop by to talk about the journey.

WINES FOR A CAUSE- The Terwillegar Riverbend Advisory Council and Vines wine merchants are teaming up to produce two special wines for a good cause. One will support the community it is named after, while the other will benefit the Edmonton Humane Society. Shane sits down with Rob Agostinis and William Bincoletto learn more.

SOAPS IT UP- It’s the 10th anniversary of Soaps It Up. CARSTAR has raised $2 million and washed over 45,000 cars across the country over the past decade, all in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Daintre speaks with Albert LeBlanc about the event.

RIVER DAY- The River Valley Alliance works to protect, preserve and enhance the river valley. The group is hoping to build a huge park along the North Saskatchewan. Daintre sits down with Valerie Turner to learn more about the initiative.

BLUES FEST- Blues Fest is celebrating its 15th year with a roster of leading blues performers from Russia, the UK, Holland and all across North America. It’s western Canada’s premier blues event. Daintre sits down with Cam Hayden to speak more about Blues Fest.

LOCKER ROOM SALE- The annual Oilers locker room sale returned to Rexall Place Saturday. Items available at the sale include collectibles, autographed items, new and game-used hockey equipment and specials from the Oilers store. Steve Hogle stops by to talk a bit more about what fans can expect to see.

EDMONTON PROSPECTS- The Edmonton Prospects are a collegiate summer baseball team playing in the Western Major Baseball League and they’re taking over Telus field this summer. Joining Shane to talk about the season ahead is Head Coach Cam McMullen and Starting Pitcher Mike Nelson.

OUTDOOR MARKET- The Edmonton Petroleum Club is hosting a new outdoor market with a twist. Customers will find an array of fresh and local ingredients from some of Edmonton’s top growers and producers. Daintre speaks with Charles Rothman and Doreen Prei to hear about the new market.

WALK TO CURE DIABETES- On Sunday, the Edmonton Garrison will host the annual Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes. It’s the largest fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Shane sits down with Heather Luchkow and Barb Armstrong to talk about the walk.

SCARS- Alison Foxford from the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society is back with a few pups looking for their forever homes.
