SAINT JOHN, N.B. – A New Brunswick woman has once again been found not guilty in the stabbing death of her common-law husband.
Crystal Dawn MacKenzie was charged with second-degree murder in the March 2010 death of Patrick Thomas in Saint John.

But after deliberating for about eight hours, a jury acquitted the 30-year-old woman Wednesday of the charge.
MacKenzie was acquitted of the same charge in 2010, but the decision was thrown out by the New Brunswick Court of Appeal.
