It’s mostly sunshine and light wind as high pressure dominates the eastern Prairies through Friday. Afternoon highs will sit right around the seasonal normal of 22 degrees and overnight lows will fall close to, or slightly above, seasonal as well.
Friday night into Saturday conditions will change as a weather system moves into southern Manitoba and tracks through the Interlake spreading showers across the region through Sunday. Forecast highs looks to be slightly below seasonal on the weekend with strong southerly winds gusting upwards of 50 km/h.
Definitely not an ideal weekend outlook, but your lawn and garden will appreciate the moisture.
The extended forecast shows sunshine returning by Monday afternoon.
