HALIFAX – Halifax police say they have arrested a 28-year-old man in the death of a woman whose body was found in the stairwell of an apartment building.
Police say the Dartmouth resident was taken into custody around 3:30 p.m. Monday and was being interviewed at police headquarters.

There was no word on whether charges would be laid.
Officers were called to investigate a disturbance in a common area of the building on Saturday night in Dartmouth.
That’s when they discovered the body of 33-year-old Tara Lynn Park in a stairwell.
Police say Park had been stabbed to death.
