TORONTO – Toronto Police are notifying the public of a sexual assault that took place in Brookdale Park Wednesday evening.
Police say a female was walking through the park, located just north of Fairlawn Avenue near Grey Road, around 9:15 p.m. when she was grabbed from behind, forced to the ground and sexually assaulted.
Officers say the male suspect fled on foot heading south through the park.
The suspect is described as a white, 5’10”, between 25-30 years old with a medium build, clean-shaven with thin dark hair. He was wearing a red t-shirt with words on the front.
