NS Pharmacy robbed of prescription pills by armed man

CALEDONIA, N.S. – The RCMP are looking for a suspect after an armed holdup at a pharmacy in Nova Scotia’s Queens County.

A man walked into the Caledonia Pharmasave today and demanded prescription pills.

He was armed, but police have not said what kind of weapon was used.

No one was hurt.

Police say the man, who they believe is in his 20s, fled in a white SUV with an undisclosed amount of drugs.

The incident prompted a temporary lockdown at a nearby high school as a precaution.
