Charges laid in northern Alberta homicide

Edmonton – Two men are facing first degree murder charges in connection to a homicide in northern Alberta.

On July 29, 2012, Jarrett Vajna was killed in a drive-by shooting outside of a home in Desmarais, Alberta.  Desmarais is about 325 kilometers north of Edmonton.

22-year-old, Glen Glady Anderson and 25-year-old, Clifford Keith Young have both been charged with first degree murder.

The RCMP arrested the two men on April 27, and they remain in custody.

Anderson is a native of Edmonton. Young is a resident of Desmarais.

The two are scheduled to appear in Court in Desmarais on May 9.
