NARAMATA, BC – South Okanagan residents who knew the 39-year-old woman who died in a tragic accident Friday night are leaving message of remembrance on social media.
“You have blessed us in more ways than anyone will ever know.”
“Kyra, I will have the vision of your smile that lite (sic) up the room, forever etched on my brain, my heart goes out to your awesome Mom & Son.”
Kyra Holt died Friday evening about 9 p.m. in the 800 block of Robinson Avenue when she lost her balance, fell out of a truck box and hit her head on the pavement.
Holt was with another woman in the back of the truck, driven by a 28-year-old man. They had just returned from a ride on the KVR trail.
Penticton RCMP say all parties involved are cooperating with the investigation.
A memorial has been set up at the site where Holt fell off the truck.
