TORONTO – U.S. authorities are searching for a well-groomed man accused of stealing over $2,600 in condoms, teeth-whitening strips, hair-growth products, among other items found in the personal grooming aisle of a local pharmacy.
Police say on April 11, four Walgreens stores in Jefferson County, Colorado, were visited by a “prolific shoplifter.”
The man is accused of stealing teeth-whitening strips, Alli weight-loss pills, Rogaine and other hair-growth products, Renew Life probiotics and condoms.
The suspect is described as black, late 30s to mid-40s, with short dark hair and a moustache and beard. He was seen wearing grey slacks, a grey sweater, a blue dress shirt, red tie and he carried a black coat.
Investigators say the man appeared to have used his coat to conceal the merchandise. He would also buy a DVD prior to leaving the stores as a possible cover for activating the door alarm.
