TORONTO – A Toronto teacher has been arrested in connection to the sexual assault of a female student, police say.
The accused has been identified as Wayne Crooks, 37, a teacher at Leaside High School.

Police allege the victim was sexually assaulted sometime in February 2013.
Crooks has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
He is scheduled to appear in court May 27.
