TORONTO – Two major closures on the subway line could hamper Torontonians’ efforts getting around the city this weekend as the TTC continues signal upgrades and track work.
There will be no subway service between Kipling and Jane station on Saturday as the TTC conducts track replacement work.
Westbound trains will be turning back at Jane station.
On Sunday, a portion of the Yonge-University-Spadina line will be closed as the TTC continues signal upgrades.
Subway service will be suspended from Bloor to Union station for scheduled track maintenance.
Trains will be turning around at Rosedale station.
Shuttle buses will be used to substitute service on both the Bloor-Danforth and Yonge-University-Spadina lines.
