Shoe lovers will rejoice at Thursday’s opening of Marshalls, the U.S. off-price fashion retailer’s first B.C. store in south Vancouver.
Though a full-fashion retailer, Marshalls is famous for its shoe selection and prices. With more than 8,000 pairs of designer and brand-name shoes selling at reduced or what it describes “as less than department store and boutique prices,” the chain carries the likes of Michael Kors, Tods, Dolce & Gabbana, Perry Ellis and Ralph Lauren to name a few.
Marshalls also features brand-name and designer apparel and accessories for women, men and children. Women can snap up Pink Tartan, Rebecca Taylor, DKNY and BCBGMaxAzria for spring. And unlike its sister store Winners, Marshalls carries suiting for men along with complementary accessories.For the Vancouver location at Marine Drive and Ontario, Marshalls has tailored the merchandise to reflect West Coast style and enlisted the help of Vancouver stylist Luisa Rino, who created neighbourhood moodboards reflecting that style.
Abbotsford will be the next B.C. location opening Thursday, May 23.
