Winnipeg and southern Manitoba will be enjoying spring-like conditions all week.
Similar to the what we saw over the weekend, some areas may see slightly warmer conditions than others so the possibility is there for some extra melting to take place. In Winnipeg, our forecast will be set on cruise control as early in the week, the city will sit under a ridge of high pressure that will keep skies clear, winds light and allow for temperatures to rise close to the freezing mark every day this week.
Some models have temperatures on Friday in Winnipeg getting up to 5 degrees Celsius. That may be aiming a bit high.
Most models pin Friday’s temperature closer to 0° C in Winnipeg but with all the sun we’re expecting this week, the higher temperatures may be a possibility closer to The Forks rather than the airport.
