Investigation underway after fatal crash west of Grenfell, Sask.

INDIAN HEAD, Sask. – RCMP were called to a single vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway this morning near Grenfell, Saskatchewan.

Mounties arrived at the scene west of the community on Highway 1 sometime after 9:45 a.m.

One of the four occupants of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene.

Two occupants were transported to hospital in Wolseley, while the other was airlifted by STARS to Regina.

A traffic reconstructionist is currently on scene.

Mounties are asking motorists to slow down when passing through the area.

The circumstances of the collision have not yet been determined.

Grenfell is approximately 320 km southeast of Saskatoon.
