OPP haven’t released any information about the woman located in the water or about the other occupant of the aircraft that is now the focus of the search. The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit will be attending the scene later to assist with the investigation.

The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating.

The Office of the Coroner is also investigating the crash.

OPP say Goderich Municipal Airport remains open. Pilots should call ahead as there are some restrictions in place.
